You forgot to mention how appealing a child he was. He would latch on to the newest adult and make fast friends with him/her. He was and is a charming child and it is to your (and Mary's) credit that he is a decent teen-ager.
Ah, yes, his early political skills were potent. He used to shake hands with waitstaff at restaurants.
