My grandmother loved lilacs (in addition to other plants), and I still wish we'd had the chance to go to the Royal Botanical Gardens near Guelph, Ontario. I plan to put in some lilacs along the back fence, as soon as I can; there's lots of sunlight and well-drained soil there for them.
